With less than 100 days to go and with that soon to be summer feeling well and truly upon us, it seems a good time to look at what we have coming up in the lead up to Gateways Festival on July 23rd and 24th.
The excitement is well and truly building and as the plans continue to take shape, we thought why not offer a small taste of what we have on the playlist in the coming weeks and months.
Getting to know you – We will take a look at not just the head-liners like Jake Bugg and The Charlatans but also what does Lucy Spraggan love most about Yorkshire and what have The Subways got planned for the festival and beyond? Questions we all want answered and we will bring you all that insight very soon.
Earth Day / Record Store Day – As both land this week, it will give us the ideal opportunity to look at how Gateways Festival is working not just with our wonderful planet in mind, but also with brilliant local record stores who promote and offer so much to us and our music loving community.
What’s in the bag – What will people be bringing to the Festival? We will look at what might be good to bring but also what’s on offer to get the full on Festival experience.
Making a weekend of it – for those staying over for the night, the weekend, or even those that live down the road, we will have a look at the local area and apart from Gateways Festival and what’s to do in and around Skipton.
Tastebuds engaged – The food selection on offer for the weekend will be vast, but whether it be the stretch of the cheese on a pizza or the crunch of the fries we will have it covered and give the full delicious insight into why the Festival will deliver food for all this July.
Any other business – As with the amazing line-up on the night, the next few weeks and months will be cram packed with so much on offer that we will be bursting at the seams. Also on our agenda will be a further look at our festival partners, travel info and updates, access and parking, competitions and we won’t even be finished there.
More than anything, people always say proof is in the pudding (also available all weekend). That’s why we can’t wait to bring you that perfect combo of big names on the big stage all from the best place on Earth – It will be a weekend spoken about for years to come.
So keep a look out as we deliver the best coverage, latest news and a full insight of the latest lowdown from Aireville Park.
I’ll see you all at the front.
