Let the good times Rock and Roll

Whilst not everyone needs a green light for a huge garden party, the news this week that all Plan B restrictions will be lifted from January 27th, gives a further indication that the time to think about the summer and Plan F – Family, Friends, Fun and FESTIVALS is back on everyone’s agenda.

The welcome news from the Prime Minister and the likely dropping of isolation rules in March means that everyone can change that mindset, stop getting bogged down with what can’t we do, scrap downloading those Covid passports and think about what can I do?

After so long, maybe it’s time to get out the bucket list and start putting plans in place and make 2022 a year of uplifting memories and moments to cherish forever.

So what’s on that bucket list? Travel? Seeing Friends? Enjoying the great outdoors? Well I know for sure they are all mine. There’s not many better ways to combine those (and maybe a few more) than visiting the very gateway to the UKs greatest garden – The Yorkshire Dales.

Gateways Festival hits Aireville Park from 23-24th of July and Skipton is the ideal setting for one huge moment that we have waited a long time for and boy do we deserve this.

As we continue to do everything asked of us and should things continue to improve then all we at Gateways ask of you is to not miss out on what is set to be a brilliant festival. We are in the process of finalising the exciting line-up announcement in the coming weeks – so there’s another date for your diary already.

The line-up alongside everything else, will further cement that unrelenting need to route out that glow stick, set up the festival Whatsapp group and ditch that face mask – it’s time to hit the Festival trail and get the party started. Let’s be fair Boris would all want us to have this – he knows a good party when he sees it, so you might even see him there!
